Best Casinos To Try This Slot
The Lost Treasures is a game of adventure, a type of theme that’s not going to be that difficult to find in a slot machine, but it’s still fun under the right circumstances, and in this case it’s a progressive jackpot that’s giving us that. It’s released by Blueprint Gaming as part of the Vegas Millions network, being capable of paying big progressive jackpots, but suffering RTP wise since it has to accommodate that side of it.
They designed the game with 5 reels & 20 paylines, and then they made it capable of paying up to 10,000x on its own, though they also capped the jackpot at $250,000. You add five progressive jackpots from the Vegas Millions network though, and it gets a lot more exciting. RTP will be at 95.64% or lower, depending on what features you get, but that’s only if you take the progressive jackpot into account as well. The features have on the list an Explorer Wild, the Book Bonus scatter, all sorts of reel modifiers, along with free spins and bonus games.
Betting and Prizes
You’re able to select the total bet directly, so you don’t lose time playing with coin denominations or the number of lines. The option available to you, is to spend between $0.10 and $100, per spin.
There are both good and bad news, where the slot’s payouts are concerned. The Lost Treasures is certainly capable of paying a pretty penny, both through its regular symbols and through progressive jackpots. The former will offer you up to 10,000x the stake, or at most $250,000 per spin. The latter will take the form of the five Vegas Millions progressive jackpots, the best of which can reach six-seven figures.
The downside is that the slot has at best a 95.64% RTP, and that includes 3% for the progressive jackpot. The resulting RTP of the base game is at less than 93%, so the experience you get from it might not compare favorably with what’s possible in regular slots. It’s not just The Lost Treasures that has this issue though, all progressive jackpot slots will sacrifice something in order to pay well on that other side.
The Lost Treasures Slot Features
One of the feature symbols is Dr Wild, the substitute which also forms combinations and pays 25x the stake at most, per line.
Random modifiers are available, being applied to the reels by Dr Wild. You might get Arrow Wilds, Flaming Wilds (transform neighbor symbols as well), extra scatter symbols, or guaranteed wins (Boulder Dash).
Via scatters with the Book Bonus, you can get access to a bonus feature. Thanks to picks that you make, you can get one of five features. These are either free spins or bonus games. Hall of Riches has 10 free spins with increasing multipliers (up to 10x), while Temple of Treasures has 10 free spins with double the number of lines and synced middle reels. The other three are bonus games (Trail of Thieves, Smuggler’s Tavern and Stones of Fortune).
Theme & Design
It’s an adventure themed game, it has an Indiana Jones like main character, jungle creatures and middle of the 20th century objects, along with treasures and a South American pyramid for the background. It’s pretty much the typical adventure themed game, so design wise it doesn’t stand out. It’s not a bad looking slot though, I think it will still be enjoyable.
The Lost Treasures has a lot to offer, but while you can have big progressive jackpots and fun features from it, the RTP is a bit too low, even if you take the Vegas Millions prizes into account.
