Best Casinos To Try This Slot
Deal or No Deal: MegaWays is just the latest game from the company’s series to offer this innovative game engine, but it’s not their first attempt with it. A branded slot machine, it’s based off a TV game show that’s been quite popular over the years, and thanks to Blueprint Gaming’s design here, it has a shot of being fun for slot players as well.
A game designed to offer 6 reels and a maximum of 117,649 Megaways, Deal or No Deal is going to offer its best features through its Cascading Reels mechanic. Bonus, Super and Mega features are available along the way, along with free spins and wilds. Excellent rewards, as high as 10,000x, are potentially available inside, with values of up to $100,000. The less exciting bit is the RTP, of just 95.34%.
Betting and Prizes
Betting will start from a minimum of $0.20 per spin, but it can be taken to as much as $10. Either way, it’s got a limited betting range, but one that’s typical of many slots with big potential.
Speaking of big potential, an impressive 10,000x top prize can be paid, which could mean $100,000, at most.
We get here a slot machine with medium to high volatility, and at the same time with a disappointingly low RTP, of 95.34%. Based on this alone, the game is not a great choice for most players.
Deal or No Deal MegaWays Slot Features
A Megaways slot machine will have a random number of symbols selected for each round, usually between 2 and 7. With 6 reels used in Deal or No Deal, as many as 117,649 winning combinations are available per spin, provided that you get the maximum number of symbols. The middle four reels have an additional horizontal reel at the top, which will also display symbols.
Wild symbols are used inside, but you will only find them at the top of the four middle reels, in the horizontal reel that the game has there.
The symbols with the Question Mark logo are going to be used as mystery icons. All instances of this symbol will be randomly transformed into one other icon.
Cascading Reels is a mechanic that we see in a lot of slot machines, and it’s even more powerful in Megaways slots. In this particular case, it’s being used to get the player new wins, but it’s also counted as a step towards the various features of the slot. With 4, 5 or 6 Cascading Reels, you get into the Bonus (cash and free spins), Super (more free spins) or Mega features (eliminates cash, leaves only free spins).
Once you get to the free spins, you will find that you benefit from mystery symbols, plus you also get a multiplier that doesn’t have a limit on how high it can go. The way to boost the multiplier is by forming combinations and triggering new cascades. Each time this happens, the game adds +1 to the multiplier.
Along the way, you can collect Crowns as well. You need 15 collected, to trigger Wheel King Bonus, which can either give you a progressive jackpot or prizes.
Theme & Design
It features a game show inspired design, based on Deal or no Deal, and it shows. The background is that of a game show’s set, with lights everywhere. In the front, we have the large reels, with symbols ranging from Royals to various boxes, cups and logos. Most of these are related to the show, using question marks, envelopes and logos that work for it.
Though a good branded slot game for this game show franchise, the low value of the RTP makes me not recommend Deal or no Deal Megaways.
