The Tetris phenomenon was a huge part of the life of many in the late 20th century; it was a simple but fun game that required fast reflexes and could prove quite entertaining. Candy Fall might be inspired by that game, but its implementation has nothing to do with that excitement that we felt as kids when playing Tetris. The developer’s name is Blueprint Gaming.
Candy Fall offers a setup with 6x6 reels, where it’s trying its own Tetris-like engine, where you have to clear reels in order to claim small prizes. It can pay up to 251x the stake per spin and has low volatility. A 95% RTP is also mentioned, so clearly, it’s not the most appealing game around. A bonus feature is the only extra mentioned besides the slot’s unique mechanics.
You will be able to play Candy Fall by placing a bet of $0.10 to $10.
The rewards that one may claim from Candy Fall could reach 251x the stake, which is low by most standards. Of course, the volatility of the slot is also a low one, so some may be happy with that potential. The 95% RTP is disappointing.
It’s a Tetris-inspired slot machine, but it’s not going to be as exciting to play. You’re getting a screen with 6x6 reels and Tetris shapes already positioned. On the left side, there is an area called Incoming Candy, where you get three sweets at a time, and they’re shaped like Tetris symbols. You can click on them one at a time. This clears all symbols of that type from the main game area. In the end, once you use all 12 sweets, you want to be left with as many empty reels as possible, as this is what gets you paid the amount mentioned at the top.
A better idea is to use the Reveal All button, rather than to click on each one of the 12 sweets manually.
There is no skill or real excitement here, unfortunately.
The other feature available is a bonus game, which you reach when the word BONUS appears. You make a simple pick, between the three chocolate bombs shown, and you receive a prize. Simple and boring.
It’s a candy-themed slot machine, and it does all right for that category. The sweets are visible, particularly in the background image, where you notice mountains and forests made of them. The game area is filled with Tetris-like shapes with candy on them.
Overall, it’s difficult to get excited about this slot machine. Tetris was all about skill, and the action here is as random as in any other slot machine. You waste time clicking on individual symbols or just use Reveal All, and then you get paid small prizes in a slot with a below-average RTP.
