Its inspiration is coming from Las Vegas, and it’s a fitting homage to Sin City.
Slot Vegas Megaquads is a casino game that you play on four sets of 4x4 reels each, but which will get together during free spins, to create a huge game area, with as many as 16,777,216 ways. Whether it’s the multipliers, wilds, free spins, or any of the other features involved, you do get quite a bit, and the action is much more interesting than the slot’s high volatility would suggest at first. Wins of 45,000x the round’s stake are announced here, while the game is expected to have a long-term RTP of 96.59%.

You start off in this game with a setup that incorporates four slot machines, each one with 4x4 reels and 256 ways to win.
The four top symbols have meters of their own, shown on the left side of the game area. It’s a counter, which allows you to collect symbol multipliers. This is possible whenever a combo of 4 top symbols forms on one of the sets of reels. The formation of such a combo will boost the multiplier of that symbol, by 1x. As you keep playing the game, this multiplier will go up for the premium symbols.
Regular wild symbols are reserved for the last three reels of each game area, and they are going to be used as standard replacements, to be included in any winning combinations being formed in the game. You can’t trigger other features through them, so only regular symbols can get replaced with these wilds.
Rainbow Wilds are next, and you use these on the 2nd and 3rd reels, where they’re once again used as substitutes. Get them to show up on sets of reels that are next to each other, and you can trigger a new feature, called Rainbow Wild Bonus. In this new mode, the two sets of reels that triggered it will be merged, and you will get to play in a game area with 8x4 reels & 65,536 ways. Reels 4 & 5 will get an additional wild. At this point, a boost to the multiplier meter is possible by getting wins of 5 to 8 top symbols, which then adds up to 5 steps to it.
The game’s most important feature is the one where you get to play on 8x8 reels, where 16,777,216 ways are active. To get to that stage, you first need 4+ scatters in view on those reels. At least 6 free spins are offered then, though for each additional scatter there will be another 3 rounds added to the total.
It starts with the symbol multipliers that you’ve been collecting up to that point. They get added together, and you are then using a single huge win multiplier. You keep boosting the multiplier as well, as you’re adding new wins with top symbols.
The initial spin starts you off with two sets of reels, where you get 4096 ways on each. To actually get the bigger game area, of 8x8, you need Rainbow Wilds landing on the two sets, during the same spin. Only then, will the game area get the boost to 16,777,216 ways.
It might be impressive feature-wise, but Slot Vegas Megaquads doesn’t have a good story to go with it. To be honest, you don’t really need one, in a slot machine like this. The Las Vegas connection is perfect, though on the reels I would’ve preferred themed symbols, instead of the mix of Royals, three types of Lucky 7s, Purple Diamonds, and feature icons (regular W wild, Rainbow Wild, scatters).
Slot Vegas Megaquads is once again a memorable slot from Big Time Gaming, one of the top choices around if you get bored easily, and want new features to explore. With plenty of smaller wins, but ultimately still a highly volatile game, it is capable of delivering wins of up to 45,000x the stake while maintaining a generous RTP and being a lot of fun. Overall, highly recommended.
