Book of Gods Slot Machine

Book of Gods is the latest game that we’re seeing Big Time Gaming release, the slot machine continuing the interesting series of titles that the developer has launched so far, and which has made them extremely popular with players. The choice here is of an Ancient Egypt theme, but they put their own spin on it and it’s got some fantasy mixed in as well.

This time, they let go of the Mega Ways system that made their slots popular and came up with a title that has 243 ways and the usual 5x3 reels to support them. There are still a lot of cool features for players to explore, such as Feature Drops, Cloning features, Free Spins, wilds and re-triggers. There is a huge potential for wins inside, up to 4860x the total bet for a single round, or 20x for a single combo.

Betting and Prizes

The betting is done by picking the total amount only, and in fact that’s what you use to determine how much you win as well. You get bets of $0.10 to $40 to choose from, this being the full range of the wager system.

Prize wise, the best wins that can be delivered will multiply the total bet by 20x, but if you keep in mind its 243 ways to win, you will reach the same conclusion that I did, and that’s that you can win 4860x the stake per single spin. Turned into hard cold cash, it could mean $194,400. We also know what the Return to Player will be for the game, for its entire lifespan of course, and it’s 96.35%. Keep in mind, your results will vary wildly in the short run, compared with that average figure.

Book of Gods Slot Features

One of the defining features of Book of Gods is the Cloning feature. This occurs during every spin and it chooses one of the low-paying playing cards, to clone it in all positions of the reels that it appears on.

Not just a wild or a scatter, the Book symbol is getting both roles to play, depending on how you get it and on the number of times it appears. Usually, when it’s on its own, it will serve as a substitute. Have it appear a minimum of three times, to get the free spins instead.

An alternative is to just pay to get the feature, through the Feature Drop option which costs 80x the stake. Up to 5 scatters can be obtained through the Feature Drop.

Once you get 3 to 5 scatters, either on their own or through the Feature Drop, you will have 15, 20 or 25 free spins to go through. You get the Book of Gods initially, telling you which of the gods is a cloning symbol. The free spins may be retriggered indefinitely, if you keep getting 3+ scatters again. The retrigger brings an extra Cloning God, so the free spins become even more profitable. You need three retriggers to get all the Gods as clones.

Theme & Design

There is a bit of fantasy and a bit of Ancient Egypt in Book of Gods. The main characters aren’t the usual Egyptian gods that you know, instead relying on a Goddess of the Afterlife, the God of Sun, of Earth and of the Moon. As impressive as the features usually are in Big Time Gaming slots, I’m not a fan of their designs usually, but they’ve changed for the better in Book of Gods. The lower symbols are still the same basic playing cards though.

Conclusion

Book of Gods has a lot to offer, and once again Big Time Gaming gives its players a unique experience thanks to its Cloning feature and the free spins with their huge win potential.
