Yak Yeti and Roll Slot Review & Free Demo Game

Yak Yeti and Roll Slot Machine Review

Yak Yeti and Roll is a lovely little game, a release from Betsoft which seems to take aim at the holidays, with its winter setting and funny characters. It’s got some very special features to offer, but it also has a bit of a weird story, showing us a yeti that’s pedaling on a winter vehicle of sorts, carrying around a little old man, an Inuit inventor apparently.

We’ve been given a game with 5 reels & 20 win lines, a standard setup which can apparently get you paid as much as 92,750 coins in a single spin. There will be multipliers inside, along with free spins, cascading wins with cumulative multipliers, trails of treasures and the option to buy your way into the feature.

Betting and Prizes

When you set up your bet, you have the total amount to worry about, nothing else. They pick a value of $0.20 at its lowest, but it can go up to $20 as well. This gives you a coin denomination/line bet of $0.01 to $1.

A Buy Feature is provided, asking you to wager 130x the regular stake, in order to trigger the slot’s special feature, giving you 18 free spins and a 4x multiplier.

When it comes to the rewards that may go your way, it’s been mentioned that the slot has a maximum potential of 92,750 coins for one spin, which would mean that you can’t win more than $92,750.

There are two different RTP figures to consider. The higher one is at 96.54%  and it’s for the Buy Feature option, so if you play only this way, that’s the expected return. The smaller RTP, of 95.93%, is mentioned for regular gameplay.

Yak Yeti and Roll Game Features

One of the first features you’re likely to encounter here is the one where winning combinations will trigger cascades of symbols. The original contributors to the win are removed, new ones come in and take their place, ideally getting you even more cascades.

With each new win that you trigger, the snowmobile that’s controlled by the Yeti is going to advance one position. The trail is shown at the bottom, with snowballs, multipliers and other prizes arranged below the reels. You could trigger 8 or more free spins, you could get multipliers for a number of cascades or cash prizes can be given directly (up to 200x the stake).

Yeti is your wild feature, a substitute for all types of symbols, with the scatter’s exception. Only the middle three columns can get it.

Eskimo is your scatter, which will pay from all positions. Appearing up to five times, it delivers wins of up to 12.50x the stake.

If you manage to get to the free spins, you will get a cascade multiplier which will persist for the entire duration of the feature. They also add up.

Theme & Design

The story of the game revolves around an Inuit inventor, called Yak. He’s friends with a Yeti apparently, and they’re shown together in a snowmobile that Yak invented, a pedal-powered device. It’s a funny game, one which shows us the two main characters, along with symbols which have reindeer, sled dogs, igloos, the snowmobile and gloves, but also some beautifully decorated Royals.

Conclusion

Betsoft did an awesome job with the design of Yak Yeti and Roll, with features being also quite interesting, so it’s definitely a good game to try out.
