Due to be released during the fall of 2019, Gemmed is a Betsoft video slot that is fairly innovative, as you’re about to discover below. The game’s pretty graphics are in line with everything else we’ve seen from this developer, and the presence of unique gameplay can only improve the game’s appeal.
It’s announced as a game that makes use of 9x9 collapsing reels while relying on a new reel grid system, called MaxPays, which offers a total of 40,503 ways to win. There will be three different layers to be found underneath the slot’s 9x9 reels, and it’s advertised as a game with a unique offer, which will have a big impact. Since it has top wins of 21,667x, along with a 96.46% RTP, it’s a slot machine with a good offer to make its players.
Whatever the bet level that you choose to use, you will get in exchange access to the entire game area, with its 9x9 reels. Both smaller and larger bets will be available to you, the range offered to be between $0.10 and $10.
Betsoft has announced that the game has a maximum payout of 21,667x total stake, for a single spin. This means that you could win $216,670 at most, from one extremely lucky round. The reward is very good, and it could certainly motivate players to give the slot a try.
I’m also satisfied with the RTP that’s been announced for this game. At 96.46%, it is a good figure for a slot machine.
Among the game’s major new features, the MAXPAYS reel system is apparently the biggest new thing that’s being introduced in it. You get a grid with 9x9 positions, where symbols of different sizes can land. You play with 40,503 ways to win.
It’s also noted that the 9x9 reels are going to collapse when winning combinations are formed, and the requirement will be of 3+ symbols appearing next to each other, in order to get you paid.
Activating the free spins requires that you have 5+ scatters appearing in a single round, anywhere in view. This gets you at least 15 free spins, though if you get 10+ scatters, the game has 50 free spins to offer. There will also be the option to retrigger free spins, but you need those 5+ scatters to appear again.
While playing Gemmed, expect to find Rainbow Wilds on the reels. These will be the substitutes, symbols that can take the place of a regular symbol, whenever this can result in a new win. The first reel doesn’t get the wild, but the other eight reels do.
As you can see, most of the excitement of the game will come from its unusual setup, not from regular symbols or its free spins.
Story-wise, it’s a mining-themed game, which takes us to an enchanted forest. The main character of this story is called Lukus Gembreaker, so there will be gemstones as well in the game’s design. Since this is Betsoft, the graphics are going to be enjoyable for most players, they always seem to be in their games.
The symbols involved will have a Rainbow-colored Wild, a scatter with Gemstones, followed by gemstones that have the Sun, Snowflakes, Water Drops, Leaves, Flowers, Berries, Mushrooms, and the Moon on the side.
Gemmed is going to offer you a unique experience, and when you factor in that it’s got a good RTP and huge top jackpot, I believe you will have all the reasons you could need, to check it out for yourself.
