Caishen himself will appear in the game, and he will act as a wild symbol whenever this happens. It can appear both regular-sized and stacked, so you can end up with it covering a full reel. As a wild, it is expected of it to act as a substitute, allowing it to participate in regular combinations of 3 or more symbols. Present only on the middle three reels, this symbol is responsible for a free re-spin, which is offered if you get the wild to cover the full reel.
Another major side of the game, the free spins will offer you 10 rounds to play through, provided that a scatter symbol with the Red Ticket lands on both 1st and 5th reels. What I love most about the free spins, is that they offer a 3x multiplier that will apply to all wins. Theme & Design
The theme is an obvious one, with Chinese customs and luck/wealth related icons being present in all major positions on the reels. Caishen himself, the god of wealth, is the one acting as the substitute, while the bonus symbol uses the image of a red money envelope. The game will also give you the gold ingot, money tree, a pot filled with gold coins, a money bag, a noise maker, a gold bell and a turtle. Lastly, we end up with a list of Royals, fairly basic-looking ones, without any connection to the Chinese theme. Overall though, I liked the design quality of the game, even though it’s quite typical for the genre in the way it’s drawn.
Conclusion
Caishen’s Arrival will give you big top payouts, but at the same time it will not have a very high RTP for you to work with.
