Back to Venus Slot Review & Free Demo Game

Back to Venus Slot Machine Review

A sequel for another slot of theirs, It Came From Venus, has just been announced by Betsoft Gaming. The name of the new slot is Back to Venus, and it features the same alien meat-eating plants as before, just with a space twist to them. It looks like an alien invasion has taken place on a farm, and we get to enjoy it through the same pretty graphics that we’ve seen many times in the past, from this developer.

The game has been designed with 5x3 reels and 25 paylines. It’s offering several features that should be of interest, including wilds, Rocketship scatter symbols, Prickly Sticky and Respin, Flowering Wild Boost, Sticky Asteroid Wilds, free spins and multiplier wilds. I like that the game’s medium volatility is coupled with a jackpot of up to 4,338x the stake, all while the RTP sits at 97.07%.

Betting and Prizes

If we’re looking at the game’s bets, those go from $0.20 to $20, which means that $0.01 to $1 is what you can spend on each line.

With plenty of features bringing wilds, as well as multipliers coming from them during some of the free spins, the game seems to have potential that goes further than the 300x rewards which are typically possible just via regular symbols. I’ve seen mentioned a maximum exposure of up to 4,338x the stake for this slot. Looking at the excellent RTP of 97.07%, I’m actually liking what I’m seeing here.

Back to Venus Game Features

One of the features that will be included, a wild symbol which has its own logo placed next to a black plant of sorts, will be the typical substitute. It might not be unique to this game, but it’s going to be useful in the long run.

Prickly Sticky and Respin will trigger at random, for spins with no wins. It picks a random symbol and makes it sticky on the reels, after which a respin follows. Once you get a win with the random symbol, the respins stop.

Flowering Wild Boost is also random, and it’s once again something that can happen in non-winning rounds. It will light up the reels and it can bring Asteroid Wilds down on the game area. These Asteroid Wilds will become sticky and will be around for the next 2 rounds. They can show up on the last four reels only.

The Bonus symbols show up with their own logo as well, but they’re also accompanied by the image of a rocket. This rocketship is a scatter which you find on the reels 2, 3, 5 and 5. With three, you get 10 free spins where Asteroid Wilds are sticky, while the odds of more wilds are higher. With four scatters, you get 10 free spins with sticky Asteroid wilds, but also with a chance to land Multiplier Wilds.

Theme & Design

Meat-eating plants from outer space are the ones on which this game focuses, just as in the previous slot of the series. It’s been about 8 years since the original’s release, and a testament to its quality is that the graphics still look good today. In fact, the 2020 version is quite similar to the original design wise. You have the farmer, turned astronaut, along with the alien plants, barns, UFO’s, rockets and fields. Lastly, there are also a couple of less impressive Royals.

Conclusion

Back to Venus should be a fun game for most, a slot with medium volatility and interesting features, high enough rewards and an above average RTP.
