All Ways Hot Fruits is one of Amatic’s releases, and a slot which appears to have a bit of a classic side to it. Not quite the modern video slot that everyone seems to be dreaming about, but it can be an enjoyable game, and I know for sure that some players do want this sort of simple gameplay and familiar graphics that the oldies can provide.
Despite the classic nature which can be glimpsed at in certain areas, All Ways Hot Fruits is also at least partially a modern release. Offering 243 ways to win on its 5x3 reels, the game keeps the volatility on the medium side, and subsequently it seems capable of paying up to 3,000x the stake in a single spin. You’re looking at a game with multipliers, along with scatters and free spins. Most of all, I love the 97.05% RTP, it’s way above the average right now.
Pick a bet within the given range, of $1 to $3,000, and you can start playing this game. It’s all it takes, a decision on the wager, and I’d suggest you pick a value that you can use for more than a couple of spins, even if they’re losing ones.
Up to 500x the stake can be paid by the game when forming winning combinations, and the potential here appears to be quite high, as you’re getting 243 ways to win, each one capable of offering that much if it’s fully covered by Lucky 7s. Multipliers can also apply, but it’s likely that there is a low cap placed on the game’s potential. Even so, get up to three of these multipliers in place, and there are boosts of up to 6x to the game’s wins, so up to 3,000x the round’s stake would be available then.
One of the more unusual symbols that you’re getting in All Ways Hot Fruits, is the multiplier. It’s not a wild symbol, even though it might seem like it, but it will double the value of all combinations formed that round, so it’s still helpful in a way. At the same time, it acts as a blocker symbol on the first three reels, so its appearance there will cut down from the number of potential wins, since it will not contribute directly to any of them. Since it boosts wins by 2x with each symbol, and you can get up to three of them, the total boost to wins of the spin could be 6x, so its shortcomings can be forgiven.
The other big feature available, is the one with the Bonus symbol, the scatter. Landing on all five reels, but only once on each one, this symbol can trigger a prize of up to 500x the stake, along with free spins. The number of symbols determines how many rounds you’re getting, with 3, 4 or 5 logos being sufficient to get you 7, 10 or 15 free spins. You can retrigger the feature as well, via the same scatters.
The base game is fine, but during the free spins you will find the action to be much more interesting. The reason for this is that all symbols appear to be turning into scatters. You no longer need symbols to show up on consecutive reels, from left to right, just for them to show up a certain number of times.
In a game that borrows heavily from the classics, the story is not one of the main selling points. In fact, there is no such thing here, just a mix of colorful symbols that should feel familiar to anyone that has played latest slots before. A 2x multiplier and the Bonus logo are the feature triggers. Regular symbols give you a Lucky 7, Golden Bell, Golden Horseshoe, Watermelons, Grapes, Lemons, Oranges, Plums and Cherries.
All Ways Hot Fruits manages to pose as a classic slot machine rather well, but in the end we find some unique and modern features inside, which aim to improve its gameplay.
The potential for payouts appears to be rather high, but then again I wouldn’t expect for the slot to be available without some limits in place, when it comes to how much can be available in a single spin. Once you look at the slot’s above average RTP, of 97.05%, I think you will be happy with what it has to offer, even if there will be limits imposed on how much a single round can pay.
It’s an attractive proposition for someone that likes this sort of classic influence in slots, and though not everyone will like its look, one can’t really argue with that kind of RTP.
