You don’t get a lot of slot machines which place the action in a chicken coop, but that’s exactly the kind of game that we see here. Chicken Party is one of the early slots for 2020 that will be coming from Booming Games, a cartoon-style game that’s quite different from most titles you will typically see at casinos.

The developer chose a 4-reel setup, of 3 symbols each, but also with an extra horizontal reel at the top, for special symbols. 20 fixed lines will be available each round, there is no changing that, and they appear capable of delivering wins of up to $100,000, while others can pay up to 2,000x the stake ($400,000). With random and regular wilds, scatters and free spins, I think you will find that the mix of features is good enough, particularly since they don’t all come in the usual manner.

Betting and Prizes

It looks a bit unusual for a slot machine, but you still get regular lines inside, and it’s not difficult to play or wager on. You use 20 coins, and while wagers start from as little as $0.20 per spin, they can also reach a maximum value of $200. This means that the line bet is going to vary from $0.01 to $10.

The random wild symbols, which will appear via Hens on all reels in the free spins mode, will form combinations that pay up to $5,000 per line. Given the number of lines present, we’ve calculated that the top jackpot can reach $100,000. The Foxy Wins will do even better, paying 2,000x the stake when landing in the top position on all four reels, and paying up to $400,000 then.

There is one thing that I wasn’t happy to see here, and I’m talking about the RTP, which is at 95.07%, lower than you want to see in a slot machine.

Chicken Party Slot Features

The Golden Egg with the W on the side is going to be a substitute, which you will be able to use for the winning combinations formed on those four reels. Get it on the right position, to form combinations with it.

At times, random wilds can be added to certain reels. They come through the special reel from the top, when hens drop egg wilds on the reel below them. Only one reel can get a Hen at the top in the base game, but during free spins all reels get Hens, and so you can form combinations out of wilds alone (25x the stake each).

Foxy Wins will occur when you get three or four Fox symbols, on the top position of the four reels. The game’s biggest rewards can come through then.

Scatters are useful as well, and these also show up on the horizontal reel from the top. Showing you the Rooster, and marked with the Scatter logo, the symbols need to appear three times. If this happens, you get access to the free spins feature (8 or 10 rounds, for 3 or 4 Roosters).

Theme & Design

It’s a party alright, but it takes place in a chicken coop. The ones having fun are roosters and hens. The rooster shows up in the scatter symbol, a Golden Egg serves as the wild, while other high value icons get different chickens, colored in white and brown mostly. Moving on to the lowest value symbols, the Royals, we find that they’re made out of feathers.

Conclusion

Chicken Party looks like it can be fun, mixing high quality graphics with a unique gameplay and funny main characters (the chickens). However, the low RTP ruins it for me, it’s just not worth playing if you want to maximize the odds of winning in the long run.
