From winning streaks, to big wins and eye-watering wealth, there are a lot of promises being made here, so let’s see how many of them actually come true.

For the 5 reels which are going to be used in Diamond Hill, we’re being promised 36 ways to win. With maximum wins of 200x total stake, the game doesn’t sound like a huge winner, and yet it has a 96% RTP while maintaining a High volatility. Having wilds which will apply up to 9x multipliers to wins, while also triggering respins, can certainly improve one’s impression of this game, as the potential increases significantly.

Betting and Prizes

For a slot machine with 36 ways to win, the wagers are a bit on the high side, requiring 50 coins to be used each round. The smallest bet that you can select is at $0.50, while the highest one has a value of $100.

Theme & Design

It’s going to have a fantasy inspiration, and it’s obvious right away. You’re dealing with an enchanted kingdom here, with woods packed full with various magical ingredients, which will help you out along the way. The design borrows a bit from the color of a diamond, so there is a lot of light blue in the background image.

Moving back to the reels, you find on them a total of 8 different diamonds, one of which will be transformed into a wild multiplier. Colored in light or dark blue, orange, pink, etc, these symbols don’t give us a lot of variety, so that’s one area where I feel that the design suffers.

Conclusion

With high volatility, but relatively low top payouts, and with a theme that has potential in the background, but which is ruined by the mix of symbols on the reels, Diamond Hill is not the best game around. On the other hand, it’s interesting and not a typical release, so I will give it points for that bit of originality.
