Mystic Bear XtraHold Slot Machine Review

Arriving via Swintt, Mystic Bear XtraHold will feature wildlife-inspired graphics, where the main role appears to have been given to a Polar Bear, even though it’s more of a temperate region. We’re looking at a decent collection of special features, and above-average volatility, but there are also decent rewards that could be claimed, so it could work out.

5x4 reels are a bigger game area than I’d expect, given that only 25 paylines are active. Still, with the right features, this slot machine could pay 10,000x the stake, though I’d mention the 95% RTP and high volatility as well. From the mixed wild/scatter, to free spins with mega symbols, or the XtraHold re-spins, you get a good collection of major features.

An important feature symbol is the one called a Super Wild. Showing a blue paw print, it’s a substitute when the requirements are met for new combinations on its lines, but it can also be a scatter.

The main difference here is that the middle reels transform and now display only mega symbols (3x4 positions occupied). Theme & Design

With a North American forest behind the reels, and a variety of wild creatures from the region present in top symbols, the design of Mystic Bear XtraHold isn’t original. However, it’s well designed, and I did enjoy it.

As symbols, the lowest options are the Jack to Ace Royals, followed by images of squirrels, eagles, wolves, and the white bear. Other than that, there is a Paw Print Super Wild, and the Full Moon bonus symbol.

Conclusion

Overall, Mystic Bear XtraHold might look the part and pay relatively well, but the low RTP manages to ruin the first impression. You can get similar features from other slots as well, though the mega symbols and Super Wilds do keep it interesting.
