After releasing medieval and robbery themed slot machines this year, it seems that Slotland decided that it’s time to get back to the classics, and so it’s offering a Las Vegas themed game here, with classic elements but some modern features as well.
Vegas Mania has a standard setup, size-wise at least since it gives you 5x3 reels. Its 21 lines are not as often seen in slot machines. The game has regular and double wilds to offer, plus scatters and free spins, so on the feature front it’s looking pretty good. While you play it, you can win a progressive jackpot from it, or a regular combination can give you up to $12,000.
Betting and Prizes
There is the option in this game to select both the number of lines and their individual bets. You can take a line bet up to $4, and since you have at most 21 lines in play, the maximum bet will reach the $84 mark.
As for the prizes that are available in Vegas Mania, the regular wins can deliver up to 1,500x, or 3,000x if the wild’s multiplier assists, so up to $12,000 per combo. The symbol that pays that much is the Lucky Horseshoe.
The progressive jackpot is sitewide and it could be worth even high five figures, making it the most valuable prize you could get in this slot.
Vegas Mania Slot Features
The special features that have been introduced with Vegas Mania are standard ones for a slot machine, but they still look good since they involve things that every player would want, from wilds to free spins, or multipliers.
The wild symbol comes in two versions. One is the regular substitute, which you will use just in the formation of new combinations and next to any regular symbol. The second wild is the one that also has a 2x multiplier to offer, but otherwise it works the same way as the regular wild. You just get doubled wins thanks to it.
The feature symbols are generally easy to spot thanks to their logos, and that goes for the Free Spins scatter as well. Having 3, 4 or 5 visible in the game gets you 1, 5 or 15 free spins.
Theme & Design
As you can see inside, the game is not quite modern, having older style graphics which could very well be taken from a land-based game from a few decades ago. As for the symbols that have been picked, they give you cherries, green poker chips, a red 7, a slice of watermelon, golden stars, cash, lucky horseshoes and several logos that give you access to features.
They seem to have wanted to go for the classic look, and this apparently included the dated graphics as well. If you’re feeling the nostalgia of those times, you might as well give the game a chance.
Players that are looking for modern graphics will not be happy with what Vegas Mania has to offer. On the other hand, the features are good and the game can be enjoyable if you’re not putting a big emphasis on pretty graphics.
