Gold Bricks is a modern 3 reel slot machine, a classic in form and theme, but at the same time it’s a 2017 release that comes from Rival Gaming, and I’d say that it’s better than many competitors when it comes to graphics at least. Keep reading to find out how it works feature and payout wise.
Gold Bricks gives us 3x3 reels with 3 active lines that are horizontal to each of the three rows of symbols. The game will give us rewards of up to $6,000, while when it comes to features the preference seems to be to keep things simpler, and so you only have stacked wilds present.
Betting and Prizes
There are three areas where the bets can be modified in Gold Bricks, so you get full control over what’s about to happen. You can spend as little as $0.01 and still trigger a spin, while the upper limit can be set to $45. You can have coins that are worth up to $5, with up to 3 coins per line and 1 to 3 active lines. The maximum line bet can reach $15.
The paytable indicates what you can win, with a combination that is formed while the line in question gets 1, 2 or 3 coins from the wager. Depending on your wager, you can get 400, 800 or 1,200 coins from the slot’s best combo. The actual value of such a prize will reach $6,000 at most.
Gold Bricks Slot Features
I don’t typically expect a slot machine with this sort of setup to offer a lot of features. My expectations haven’t been surpassed in this game either, even though the one feature that it offers does look out of the ordinary for this sort of game.
As for the actual feature that is used in Gold Bricks, its image is that of an actual stack of gold bars, a very tall one by the looks of it. These gold bars come in stacked on the reels, and so you can end up with entire reels that are filled with wilds when these symbols are fully visible. There are multiple benefits to something like this happening. For one, you can get a combination formed easier, since a wild will behave as a substitute if you get the other two positions on the line with matching symbols. Second, these wild symbols can end up forming combinations with other wilds, though obviously you need three of them together on the same line for that to happen. Should that happen though, the reward could be quite high, the game’s jackpot coming from this mix of symbols.
Theme & Design
As its theme, Gold Bricks got a mix of the classic theme which involves the use of symbols that have been popular for more than 100 years, but with a focus on gold, just like the title mentions. The most important symbol of the slot is a non-standard one actually, with a big stack of gold bars shown in it. Other symbols include three types of 7s (in gold, blue and orange), three gold bars with the Bar logo on them, plus plums, cherries and melon.
I think that Gold Bricks has a good chance to become an alternative to other 3 reel slot machines in the market, especially since it offers a decent average RTP and pretty good graphics.
