If you enjoy a good Book-style slot machine, then you’re aware of just how crowded and unimaginative this category can be. On the other hand, a 20,000x jackpot is more than enough to get players excited about the prospect of trying this slot out. Multiplier wilds, Book scatters, Pink Orb scatters, and free spins will be the major features introduced in this game.
Book of Charms doesn’t give you a big betting range and the options listed are going from $0.10 to $5.
Even though the bets aren’t large, the rewards can be impressive. A 20,000x top prize is ready to be claimed, and the slot machine will pay as much as $100,000 then. Naturally, the slot’s volatility is going to be high, but at least the RTP will reach a max level of 96.38%, and that’s where you want to see it.
Don’t expect this one to be a typical Book slot, it does a couple of things differently.
For one, the Lucky Lady Wild is going to apply a 2x multiplier when it’s combined with regular symbols, so it will help improve their rewards. Even better, a combo of up to five such wilds is going to pay the top prize of the game, up to 900x the stake on each line. Wilds don’t replace scatter symbols, only regular ones which form combinations.
The Pink Orb scatters, when landing 3 to 5 times, will be responsible for triggering a feature that consists of 15 free spins. A 3x multiplier will boost all wins that are formed inside. If retriggered, you get an extra 15 rounds each time. If you happen to gain access to the Book Spins at this point, the 3x multiplier is carried over to them.
The other major feature takes the form of the Book Free Spins, activated via Book symbols that land 3 to 5 times. You receive 10 rounds there (can be retriggered), along with a randomly picked expanding symbol. These symbols expand at the end of the spin, and they will pay on all lines if they’re present on 3+ reels. The game is half Ancient Egypt, half Irish. You see the former side on the left, with an explorer sitting next to the pyramids. The right side shows us the Lucky Lady, in a pink-colored landscape. On the other hand, the reels are populated only with Irish symbols.
Among those Irish symbols, there are some lesser options with Royals, and Nine to Ace, but there are also icons with clovers, lucky horseshoes, coins, pendants, or ladybugs.
Overall, I think that Book of Charms does more than enough to give the player a reason to check it out. As long as the RTP is at the max level, the extra features and bigger rewards should give it a leg up over the competition’s offer.
