Kingdoms Rise Scorching Clouds is a game that offers the usual exciting graphics and features of the series, along with the token system that’s been implemented specifically for it, giving all games in this collection something in common.

Kingdoms Rise Scorching Clouds is a slot with 5x5 reels and a Cluster Pays system. With medium to high volatility, and with rewards of up to 163x that can be paid out, the game makes sure to keep the RTP at a high level, but only if you take into account the progressive jackpot and the Rise Tokens as well. As for the features that were announced for it, they include two types of free spins, Dragon Egg Collect Re-Spins and Spreading Wilds.

An interesting mix of features has been designed for this game. The Spreading Wilds are going to provide you with excitement, and as you collect Dragon Eggs tension will rise, in anticipation of the re-spins that follow. Even better, you have two types of free spins to try out, revolving around a Knight or the Queen.

Spreading Wilds can trigger if a wild symbol ever appears in an area that is highlighted on the reels. If that happens, then 2-4 extra wilds are placed in the game area. Should a Dragon Egg appear in that position, it is collected, and then the same Spreading Wilds feature is activated.

Dragon Egg Respins can trigger once you have 6 dragon eggs collected. You go through 6 re-spins then, where you remove non-winning positions and keep the winning clusters, which are inverted compared with the base game action.

Free spins come in two variants, but in both cases you need 3+ scatters. Empress provides you with 5-7 rounds, along with higher volatility. Knight is the medium volatility feature, where the same scatter offers 8 to 12 spins. Both versions have their symbols which are turned into Empress or Knight icons, respectively when landing next to them.

As with the other slots from Kingdoms Rise, a token system is implemented and is responsible for at least some of the RTP announced here. Theme & Design

The action of Scorching Clouds takes place in the Kingdom's Rise universe. There is a map with the different locations that each game takes you, and with Scorching Clouds it looks like we’re going to the top of the mountains. A dwarf-like main character is present both on and next to the reels. Other symbols include the free spins symbol, a wild, hammers, tools, and plenty of colorful gemstones.

Conclusion

Overall, there are a couple of things about Scorching Clouds that I liked, but there is also the matter of a low top prize, at least from the game’s side. The Rise Tokens and progressive jackpot add a bit to it, but the game on its own doesn’t look great.
