Da Vincis Vault Slot Machine
Da Vinci’s Vault is available at Playtech casinos and it is a slot machine that has been inspired heavily by one of the most well known artists of the Renaissance period, by Leonardo da Vinci. The idea of the vault seems to refer to all the valuable works of art that he has created, and a number of his paintings and sketches are shown among the symbols.
Da Vinci’s Vault delivers a regular layout, of 20 active lines which were placed on 5 reels. There are high payouts to be had inside, with up to $50,000 offered in one particular case. Feature wise, you can get scatters or wilds, but there are also features like the Vault Wheel or free spins.
Betting and Prizes
The 20 lines of the game are fixtures that can’t be modified by the player. The part that changes is based on the line bet, which is adjusted between $0.01 and $5. This can get you a bet within a range of $0.20 to $100, big enough to be approachable by any player, no matter what kind of budget he’s working with.
As the big reward of Da Vinci’s Vault, there is a 10,000x line bet multiple, which can be turned into up to $50,000 cash. The symbol with Mona Lisa is capable of paying that much, so look out for her. Even though you will care mostly about the average RTP in the end, having a big top prize to look forward to is a great way to attract players.
Da Vinci's Vault Slot Features
Among the symbols and features that are shown in this game, the wild symbol is definitely one to pay attention to. It’s got the image of some sort of gold statue and it is marked with a small Wild logo at the bottom. Wild symbols are going to pay up to 10,000x themselves, just like the Mona Lisa symbol, but for that they would need to form a combo of five identical wilds. Wilds are never used as replacements for other feature symbols, neither scatters nor bonus symbols benefiting from their presence.
On the other hand, the slot also has scatters, ones which show instruments, as part of a logo. Appearing on any reels, such symbols are capable of paying up to 1,000 coins by having up to five appearances during a single round.
A second type of scatter is used, one where you get a Cipher Cylinder. This symbol is going to trigger free spins for you. The cool thing here is that the feature has an infinite number of rounds to give you, at least in theory. The free spins end only once you’ve gotten the Skull symbol to appear three times on the centre reel. Depending on your luck, this could take a very long time. When such a symbol lands, it is turned into a wild.
Theme & Design
Da Vinci’s works have inspired this game and the symbols which appear on its reels. You should expect to find images of works of art and of sketches done by the artist and inventor. You have logos, gold statues, the painting with Mona Lisa, the Renaissance Man, the prototype of the helicopter that he invented and the Golden Chalice. Even though they had plenty of material to work with, they decided to use five card logos for the lower paying symbols.
Da Vinci’s Vault has some interesting things to offer, and among them I would mention its big payouts first. The theme is good, but it wasn’t properly implemented and I didn’t find it too attractive.
