Blue Wizard Slot Machine Review

Blue Wizard is one of the fantasy-themed slots that you’re going to find in Playtech’s collection. The game’s graphics will do a great job at taking the player into that kind of world, while features and payouts look impressive enough that they might convert even those that aren’t sure about the story.

This game will work with 5 reels and a total of 30 active lines. It doesn’t pay all that much, at most 180x total stake when you look at its regular combinations (up to 2,880x during free spins), but things get a lot more exciting once the Grand Jackpot enters the stage, since it pays up to 2,000x. Feature wise, you have the Fire Blaze Respin, scattered Crystal Balls, Castle Scatters, free spins and wilds with multipliers.

Betting and Prizes

One of the things to like about Blue Wizard is that it relies on just 10 coins for its wagers, even though it activates 30 lines through them. You select the total bet, between $0.10 and $500, and in the process you spend up to $50 per line.

The game has wins of up to 60 coins to pay on each line, turning them into $3,000 prizes at most ($90,000 for filling the reels with matching symbols). It gets a lot better in free spins mode, since up to 16x wild multipliers get applied via 3rd reel symbols.

Blue Wizard Game Features

It’s not a bad list of features, particularly when you take a look at the multipliers that can help improve its payouts.

For starters, the wild Blue Wizard will be among the symbols which make appearances in the game often. They are substitutes, used in this role only when helping out regular symbols form combinations. The wilds are present on the last four reels only. As you will find out below, they gain the ability to apply multipliers in free spins, on reel 3.

The way to get the free spins, as well as prizes of up to 50x total stake, will be through 3 to 5 Castle scatters anywhere on the reels. Crystal Balls are scatters, which appear with prize values listed on them. They reach 50x total bet in value each. Theme & Design

It’s a decently designed fantasy themed slot machine. The Blue Wizard is obviously the main character, but the other symbols we see are also typical for this sort of story. From Castles, to Crystal Balls, owls, Cauldrons, Spell Books and Magic Rings, there are enough themed symbols and they look pretty good. The less fun symbols are the Royals, made out of gold and showing up fairly often on the reels.
