Eye of the Amulet Slot Machine
Eye of the Amulet is a game that’s taking the action to Egypt and to the majestic constructions that were left behind by the civilization that lived there in the past. The slot machine is offered by iSoftBet and it’s their latest release.
In Eye of the Amulet, you will have 40 active lines used on 5 reels. The game gives you a Bonus Wheel, a scatter, wild symbols, wild reels, bonus games, free spins and multipliers, so it looks like a title with a lot to offer. The bigger payouts that are mentioned can get to a maximum of $2,500, for a single combo.
Betting and Prizes
Though the slot will rely on a total of 40 active lines, you will find that it is generous enough to allow you to use only 20 coins to cover them. You are allowed to set up the coin value, and you will have a range of $0.01 to $10 to do it. You are getting a total betting range that varies between $0.20 and $200.
In terms of the biggest rewards that you can hope for, the slot will offer you up to 250 coins, which could mean up to $2,500 cash. They’ve announced the RTP for it as well, and it’s at 96.51%, so that’s a good reason to try the slot out.
Eye of the Amulet Slot Features
Some of the features of the game are standard for a slot machine, while others are improved and a lot more interesting.
The wild symbol I wouldn’t consider particularly noteworthy, since it’s a simple substitute that you can only use to form new combinations with other symbols, not much else. You can’t have it as a replacement for the Amulet scatter, but that’s a limitation that is expected of it.
As for that Amulet scatter symbol, it’s the one that gets you access to the free spins and to the Bonus Wheel. Having three, four or five appearing on the reels will get you 5, 10 or 15 free spins. At the same time, you are given access to the Bonus Wheel, which will decide what extra features you will have at your disposal during the free spins. You can get additional free spins from it, multipliers for your wins or additional wilds. While you’re in the free spins mode, landing 2 to 5 scatter symbols will retrigger the feature with 3 to 30 extra rounds. At most, you can have 100 free spins during such a feature, by retriggering it multiple times.
There is a random feature as well inside, one that triggers a Sandstorm at the start of a round. It will add additional wilds to the reels, wild reels, bonus features or even 5-of-a-kind combinations.
Theme & Design
The game features a kind of adventure inspired theme that I generally enjoy. There is a man and a woman taking the main roles, and they’re clearly contemporary to us, adventurers and archaeologists. The setting is next to the pyramids though, so they’re taking us to Ancient Egypt. There are several symbols that are inspired by that country, including the Ankh, amulets, the Sphinx and the scarab. They also went with a number of less interesting card logos for the lower paying icons.
I think that Eye of the Amulet will give you some OK features and a good average RTP, and that might be enough for some players to want to try it out, despite the very boring theme that it uses.
