Ghostly Towers Slot
Are you a fan of the horror genre by any chance? Or at least of the mildly scary? Then perhaps Greentube’s Ghostly Towers will be right up your alley. A game about a haunted house, where a ghost gives big bonuses, this slot promises to be exciting, as both graphics and features look very good.
The setup is the typical one, relying on 5x3 reels and on 20 active paylines to provide you with excitement. Luckily, there is a variety of special features to help the game do just that, including here the wild symbol, scatters, free spins and three different random modifiers (up to 20x multipliers, wilds, symbol replacements). A game with medium volatility (3 out of 5), it promises to deliver excellent wins once the right multipliers help out as well. The 95.15% RTP is lower than I’d like, but it’s not that far away from the average return of modern slots.
Betting and Prizes
You are going to have only 20 coins to use in the slot’s bets, and the range of the amount that’s going to each spin is between $0.20 and $400. This allows for line bets of up to $20 to be used.
If we’re looking at the best rewards that this game will deliver, it’s not something to be impressed with. The regular wins are very low usually, up to 120x the stake offered in a game which has Medium volatility. However, take into account the multipliers of up to 20x which can come via Mental Multiplier Mania, and there is a significant boost, up to 2,400x the stake.
The game might’ve saved itself with that big multiplier, but mostly it’s still a slot which pays very little, with some rare exceptions. You can see why if you look at its RTP, of only 95.15%.
Ghostly Towers Slot Features
I liked the features that were included in Ghostly Towers, the list is long enough and the potential help that you’re getting should make for a fun time.
It all starts out with the regular wild symbol, the one that you’re already used to getting in slots. Acting as a replacement symbol, it will assist with plenty of new wins along the way. It will not help trigger the free spins though.
The game’s three random modifiers can trigger at any point as you’re playing Ghostly Towers. It can be done in both game modes, and it just requires that you collect a number of gems first.
Wickedly Weird Wilds is the one that has Pierre showing up, to give the player and the reels up to 15 wilds.
Mental Multiplier Mania will involve the same character, Pierre, only this time it applies a multiplier as high as 20x to the round’s wins.
Spooky Symbol Slither is the third option, which has Pierre appearing and replacing random symbols with a single other symbol, which you now get in multiple positions. The wins which result from this will then be paid.
As for the free spins, if you’re a fan of this feature you will be glad to hear that it’s present inside. You just need the usual 3 or more scatters, and you can get it. You then receive 5 free spins and 6 to 10 random gems. You need 5 matching gems to collect, in order to trigger a certain modifier for the upcoming spins.
Theme & Design
The action of Ghostly Towers is taking place in a haunted manor, a place where we find a ghost called Pierre. It will appear along the way, triggering random modifiers among other things, and it can be fun. I am not a fan of the Royals shown here, all of them silver-colored, but with few other details to make them spooky.
Ghostly Towers has a couple of things going for it, theme and features included, but I’m not happy with its jackpot and RTP.
