Mixing modern features and classic graphics is something that developers will do from time to time, and it’s what Gamomat appears to be trying here as well, though not in a way that you’d expect. Rather than turn Fruit Rush into a fruit slot which has modern features, Gamomat has just added one extra reel, and that’s about it. It’s a slot with huge top payouts, so it has that going for it at least.
With 6x4 reels, the game area is huge in Fruit Rush, and yet you only play on 20 active lines. Forming winning combinations and getting those top wins of up to 10,000x the stake is not going to be easy, but we do know that the Return to Player is set to 96.09%, so it’s not a matter of the game not being fair. If you like your features, don’t count on anything of the sort being included here. The game is very simple, and it offers a mix of regular symbols to form wins, nothing more.
Betting and Prizes
Look at the bottom left corner, and you will find there the betting options of Fruit Rush. The Total Bet is the part that can change, and it will have a range between $0.20 and $100. This allows for bets of up to $5 per line, while the starting point is at a typical $0.01. The lines are fixed, so that part will not change.
Up to 500x the stake is paid for a single winning combination, if the right symbols come along to contribute. It’s the Lucky 7 that will pay that much, for a single line, and when covering all lines, you could get up to 10,000x the stake total. It’s not a very likely scenario, especially with a game area that has 24 symbols, rather than the usual 15 of most slots, but the possibility exists.
It’s a game with low volatility, and it will use stacked fruit symbols to bring you those wins that will not let you go bankrupt quickly. On the other hand, forming combinations of high value is a lot tougher. Anyway, RTP wise, it’s a slot that is expected to return 96.09% of what’s wagered, back to the player. That’s an average RTP, so there is no problem there.
Fruit Rush Slot Features
The setup, with its 6x4 reels, might suggest a much more modern slot machine than it is. Fruit Rush doesn’t have even a single feature symbol to help you out, not even a regular wild or a scatter. You only get regular symbols, and the only way to get paid is to have 2+ cherries or 3+ of the other symbols, forming combinations left to right.
Theme & Design
The theme doesn’t look a lot more exciting than the game’s features list. It’s the most common theme of all, with fruits as its symbols, and at the kind of quality that you’d get back in the 90s at land-based casinos. I’m not a fan of dated graphics, but those that have a bit of nostalgia, or want a simple slot, might enjoy it or simply not care enough. As symbols, the game uses the lucky 7, watermelons, grapes, plums, oranges, lemons and cherries.
Fruit Rush is a much simpler game than many will like, but even though it has way too few lines for its huge area, and no features, there is also that 10,000x top jackpot that will make a lot of players pay attention anyway.
