Temple of Ra belongs to a massive category of slot machines, those using a theme that borrows from Ancient Egyptian culture and mythology. Endorphina didn’t make much of an effort to change things up when it comes to the visuals, but the Scatter Pays engine and the rest of the slot’s features could very well make all the difference here.

Temple of Ra Game Features

You start by getting a minimum of 8 regular symbols of the same type somewhere on the reels, as this allows the Scatter Pays engine to pay you. Up to 12+ symbols will need to show up to max out the prize from that type of symbol.

Cascading reels will come next after any win. This mechanic removes the winning combo’s symbols, and others drop from above. New wins may follow that same round, with additional cascades also triggering.

The slot has multiplier symbols that can show up, with random values within a given range. There are four colored versions, each one with another range. The lowest multiplier is 2x, while the highest goes up to 1,000x. these get added up and boost all wins from a particular cascade.

The bonus symbol is fairly important, and it shows us the image of Horus, an Egyptian deity. You need 4+ such symbols in the game area to claim 15 free spins. Once the free spins get underway, you retrigger them with 5 extra rounds whenever 3+ bonus symbols show up.

Theme & Design

Conclusion

Temple of Ra delivers an interesting game engine and big multipliers, which is always nice to see. It’s not unusual in any way, but the 30,000x top jackpot manages to make it interesting anyway.
