Continuing a series of new online slots which already got us versions with 100 and 20 lines, Chance Machine 40 is obviously the one to give us 40 potential combinations. It’s the same classic game otherwise, with little to offer for a player that’s looking for a fun story and even more interesting features. If you enjoy these simpler games, then this one could work, it can certainly pay well enough, but complexity is not something that it offers.

Chance Machine 40 delivers 5 reels with 40 fixed lines. With the right symbols (Lucky 7s) forming combinations on all lines, there is potential for wins of up to 3,000x the stake. Not much to talk about when it comes to features though, the game only has its expanding wilds and scatters, no other major options.

Betting and Prizes

Though this is not true for most of their games, Endorphina chose a fixed system in this case, using 40 lines which are always active. What changes is the number of coins used per line, between 1 and 10, along with the coin value ($0.01 to $1). Depending on how you change those options, the range of bets is between $0.40 and $400.

The regular symbols, as the Lucky 7s, are the ones which will be capable of delivering the slot’s biggest wins. Get a full screen covered by combinations with Lucky 7s in them, perhaps with the expanding wilds helping out as well, and a 3,000x top jackpot is available.

For a game that relies on basic graphics, the presence of limited features is not a surprise. Just like the other games from this series, Chance Machine 40 keeps close to the classic experience, and doesn’t have any advanced features.

An expanding wild is about the most exciting feature symbol that you will encounter in the game. It’s going to be shown as a Crown symbol, which will appear only on the middle three reels (2, 3 or 4). When it appears there, it expands and takes over its reel, provided that it will form combinations as a result. These wilds are only replacements for regular symbols, they’re not going to do anything for the two scatters.

Two types of scatters are used. One is a Yellow Star which shows up on all reels, while the other is a White Star that you can get only on the 1st, 3rd and 5th reels.

Yellow Stars, when appearing 3, 4 or 5 times, will pay 3x to 100x the stake.

White Stars, if they appear on all three reels that can get them, will pay 20x the stake.

Theme & Design

It doesn’t get any better if you’re looking at its graphics or theme. It’s a modern design, or at least it’s good enough that it doesn’t look dated, but it’s not impressive by any means. The bottom few symbols will include icons with the four card suits, following which we find the Bar logo, Clover, Bell and Lucky 7. Feature symbols show up as the Yellow and White Star scatters, plus the Crown Wild.

Conclusion

Chance Machine 40 is good enough to give a try, but only if you’re into these simpler online slot, that don’t have anything to set them apart from the dozens of other games that do the exact same thing. Otherwise, it’s easy to ignore in this very crowded industry.
