Chance Machine 100 Slot Machine Review

Chance Machine 100 doesn’t look like the sort of slot that will be turning any heads, but this classic inspired release is still going to get some attention, just due to the way it was built and the needs of the players that it was made for. With a huge game area, and lots of active lines, it delivers the classic symbols and only a few features, just enough to be interesting to a player that’s typically looking for something with a retro feel to it.

What they ended up creating, is a game with 5x4 reels and 100 paylines, where top wins of up to 3,000x total stake are entirely possible, however unlikely that might be. We know that its RTP is 96%, so we have no worries in regards to the game’s fairness. As for the major features that were added, all you get is a couple of scatters, along with an expanding wild. That might just be enough for the type of player that is looking for a classic theme in a modern setup.

Betting and Prizes

This is one of the few new slots from Endorphina, where choosing the number of active lines is not an option. You only pick a coin value between $0.01 and $0.10, and up to 5 coins to use for each line. Given the 100 lines that are active, the bets range from $1 to $50 per spin.

Payouts are going to depend entirely on the number of regular combinations formed, and perhaps on the scatters that land, but not for the top rewards. A combo of Lucky 7s that covers a full line will pay 30x the stake, which is the most that the game offers. Get all reels covered by wilds and lucky 7s, to win up to 3,000x the stake in a single spin.

Add to this a 96% RTP which appears to be standard for all Endorphina slots, and you know that you have decent odds on your side as well.

Chance Machine 100 Game Features

This is not the type of game where features would make a big impression, but they’ve added a few anyway.

A Crown Wild is going to be the main one, at least for me, as this symbol lands on the middle three reels, and it’s capable of expanding on them. This way, it ends up taking over all four positions on its reels, and contributes to all 100 active lines as a substitute. It doesn’t replace scatters, and it doesn’t pay you directly, but it’s useful in other ways.

Two other scatters exist, both used to trigger various cash prizes when landing three times or more. No other features are available through them.

The Silver Star can only land on three reels, and all of them are needed to get you a prize of 20x the stake.

The Gold Star is needed on 3, 4 or 5 reels, and in exchange it offers prizes of 3x, 20x or 100x the stake.

Theme & Design

It’s a classic theme, in a slot machine which borrows a lot from the older slot machines, at least when we’re talking about theme and symbol selection. The design quality is better than in those older slots, but not by a huge amount. You still get Lucky 7s, Bells, Clovers, Bar logos, the four card suits, along with Silver & Gold Stars, or a Wild Crown. These are all symbols that should be familiar to players that enjoy this sort of retro and simple experience.

Conclusion

Chance Machine 100 is an OK attempt at a classic slot machine in modern form, though to be fair, it is not that hard to get a classic right, especially one that you don’t have to work too hard to implement features in. You get the simple experience that you’d expect, which may or may not be to your liking.

What I did enjoy though, is the mix of a 3,000x jackpot along with a 96% RTP. This tells me that it can be just as good as any modern release, which might have a lot more shiny features to get your attention.
