A developer that’s made its name on beautiful designs and loads of cool features, they’re designing Wild Drops to come with all the usual features, but with tumbling reels as well, an opportunity to get rid of all symbols and be paid really well.
Expect 5x8 reels and a total of 16 lines from this game. Wild Drops offers among its main features, a series of wilds, multipliers, and free spins, to go with the collapsing reels mechanic. A best-case scenario would have the game paying 4,400x the stake. Though the volatility is high, it’s also accompanied by a 96.11% RTP that I am quite OK with.

Wild Drops Game Features
A total of 40 gems will drop on the slot’s 5x8 reels. It’s a Match 3 game, so you need 3+ gems of the same type, landing on one of the 8 rows, starting from either the left or the right side. It will pay both ways, hence the mention of 16 active lines for the 8 rows.
Following the formation of a win, you will get a tumble/cascade, removing the symbols from the combo. The gems that are above will fall down, and occupy the empty locations. Additional cascades can result from this, removing gems from the game area without bringing others in. Theme & Design
We’re going deep in a mine, with Wild Drops. The background shows us the mine’s train tracks and the many recipients filled with gems that were mined out of the ground. In the middle, we find the 5x8 reels, that are filled with gems. Of course, each one has a different cut and color. It’s not a unique design, but the quality is high, and the background image does look somewhat different from what you usually see in these games.
The list of symbols gives us a total of 8 regular gems (white, green, teal, blue, pink, red, orange, and yellow), along with a Wild (gold nugget) and a bonus symbol.
Conclusion
Wild Drops is an interesting release from Betsoft. The game is certainly different from most competitors, and it looks good, but I would’ve loved a better top jackpot from it.
